FRESH SQUEEZED KEY LIME JUICE COCKTAILS

Rykoff Sexton Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
is the perfect partner for the bartender/mixologist not just the Chef.

Yes, it makes an amazing Key Lime Pie, but what about a cocktail.
The weekend is the time to try out this refreshing citrus juice.

MOJITO

10 mint leaves
1 teaspoon sugar
½ ounce Rykoff Sexton fresh squeezed Key lime juice
2 ounces white rum
club soda

Place the mint leaves and sugar in the bottom of a glass and muddle with a spoon to release the oils from the mint
Add lime juice, rum and club soda to taste
Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!

CUBA LIBRE

4 oz Coca Cola
2 oz rum
1/2 oz Rykoff Sexton fresh squeezed Key lime juice
2 ea lime quarters

Put lime juice into a tall glass.
Drop one of the lime quarters into the glass.
Add ice cubes.
Pour the rum into the glass and stir
Add the coke and stir gently.
Top with remaining lime quarter and serve with or without straws.

ELDERFLOWER GIMLET

2 parts gin (Hendricks, Bombay Sapphire, Tanqueray, or Beefeater)
1 ½ parts St. Germain
1 – 1 ½ parts Rykoff Sexton fresh squeezed Key lime juice
lime wheels for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker to the brim with ice and add all ingredients except the lime wheels. Shake vigorously til condensation appears on the outside of the shaker.* Strain and serve up in a martini glass or glassware of your choice. Garnish with a lime wheel.

*Alternatively, one can stir this cocktail vigorously with ice (a cocktail spoon makes quick work of it), though traditionally any cocktail involving citrus is shaken, not stirred.
